How a deal works

Feeders to Field keeps it simple: find each other, talk it through, and close the deal on your own terms. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.

  1. 1

    Find a listing

Browse hay, custom farming work, livestock, or fruit — no account needed to look. Filter by county to see what's near you. Exact addresses stay private; you'll see the county and the details that matter.

  2. 2

    Request contact

See something you want? Send a short note through the listing. The other person gets your name and county and decides whether to connect. Your contact details stay private until you both agree — you'll need a free account for this step.

  3. 3

Message and work out the details

Once they say yes, a private message thread opens between the two of you. Hash out price, pickup, timing — whatever the deal needs — right on the platform.

  4. 4

    Close the deal

Settle up however suits you both — cash, check, or bank transfer at handoff. Your money moves straight between you; Feeders to Field never holds it or takes a cut of the deal.

A note on staying safe: keep the conversation on the platform, and please be aware of fraudsters. If someone wants a deposit before you've met, seen the animal, or laid eyes on the hay, we recommend holding off. Pay when the goods change hands, not before.
